We are back! NLA is coming once again to Camp Wilder in Springfield, MA and we’re offering the best outdoor adventure camp in all of New England.

Come take the Wilder Side challenge and you can judge for yourself. This will be our 13th summer running camp and our staff can’t wait to see you all again and meet some new young adventurers.

July 3 – August 4, 2023

Monday–Friday, 8am-3pm

$300/week
($250 for Springfield city residents)

5 consecutive weeks for ages 6-14:

  • Session 1: July 3-July 7
  • Session 2: July 10-14
  • Session 3: July 17-21
  • Session 4: July 24-July 28
  • Session 5: July 31-Aug 4

A free bag lunch program is provided through the city or you are free to bring your own.

Camp party

Camp Wilder provides a low-stress environment with no pressure to do any particular activity, and "challenge by choice" is our philosophy.

There is no better place to make new friends, learn new skills, challenge and amaze yourself, and experience the beauty of nature. For all kids looking for an incredible week or weeks outdoors, with a wide variety of adventure activities, this is the camp for you.

The Wilder classics will endure, so if you are a returning camper, fear not!

We will always find time to:

  • Play dodge ball indoors
  • Llama Ball on the court
  • Rock the Dock on Quarry Pond
  • Ultimate Kayak and fishing derby on bass Pond
  • World Domination and camouflage in the woods
  • Triathlon through the whole camp
  • Run the Wilder mile through the sumac jungle (staghorn sumac – not poisonous)
  • Don’t forget Treasure Hunts, the Wilder Olympics and, of course, all countries will be represented in the World Cup of soccer for those who want to play.
  • And yes, Chuck the camp Hawk is still soaring even higher than our zip line and high ropes course.
